1. Agreeing to these terms
The app is provided by WEB REGISTER Ltd (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. You must be at least 16 to use the app.
2. What the app does
The app records things you own — food, medicine, cosmetics and household products — along with their expiry dates, and reminds you before those dates arrive. Some product details are filled in automatically from a barcode, drawn from our own catalogue and from open product databases.
3. Expiry dates are a reminder, not a verdict
Dates in the app may be wrong. A date read from a photo can be misread, a barcode lookup can return details that belong to a different pack, a date can be typed in wrongly, and a reminder can fail to arrive — for example if notifications are switched off, the phone is off, or the operating system delays it.
So: before you eat, drink, apply or take anything, check the packaging and the product. If something looks, smells or seems wrong, do not use it, whatever the app says. For medicines, follow the pack and your pharmacist or doctor. Never rely on this app alone for a decision that affects anyone’s health.
4. Your account
You can use the app without an account, in guest mode. If you create one, give us a working email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. An account is for one person; do not share it.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
5. Free plan and Premium
The free plan holds up to 75 items and includes barcode scanning, reminders, the built-in storage locations, basic search and an SQL backup. It costs nothing and does not expire.
Premium removes the item limit and adds date, ingredient and nutrition scanning, up to three photos per item, advanced search, your own storage locations, and JSON, CSV and Excel export.
| Plan | Price | Renews |
|---|---|---|
| Premium monthly | $3.99 | Every month |
| Premium yearly | $19.99 | Every year |
Prices are shown in the app in your own currency and may differ from the figures above because of local taxes and exchange rates. The price shown in the store at the moment you buy is the price that applies. There is no free trial.
6. Billing, renewal and cancellation
Premium is bought inside the app through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store takes the payment, not us — we never see your card details — and your purchase is also subject to that store’s own terms.
- Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal is automatic. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the store charges you again for another period at the then-current price.
- Cancelling is done in your store account — Google Play → Subscriptions, or App Store → Subscriptions — not by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling does not stop the billing.
- After cancelling you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for the rest of a period.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, your statutory rights are unaffected.
- Price changes will be notified to you in advance by us or by the store, and you will be able to cancel before the new price applies.
7. If your subscription ends
Nothing you have stored is deleted. Your account returns to the free plan: features that are part of Premium lock, and you cannot add new items beyond the free limit of 75. Everything already in your account stays visible, and you can still export all of it at any time. Subscribe again and it all unlocks exactly as it was.
8. What you add to the app
Your own records stay yours
Your items, notes, photos and settings belong to you. We claim no ownership of them and use them only to provide the service, as set out in the privacy policy.
Product information is shared
Product details are different from your own records. When you add or correct the details of a product that has a barcode — its name, brand, weight, category, ingredients, nutrition values, country of origin, or a photo of the product or its label — you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, store, adapt, publish, distribute and sublicense that product information, including as part of a product data service we may offer to others, and including commercially.
This licence covers product information only. It does not cover your inventory, your quantities, your notes, your storage locations or anything else that describes you rather than the product. Product information is never published with your name or email address.
By adding product information you confirm that you are allowed to share it, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else’s rights — so do not upload a photo you did not take, or copy text from a source that does not permit it.
9. Using the app properly
You agree not to:
- knowingly enter false or misleading product information, or flood the catalogue with junk;
- upload anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the app or our servers, including the limits of the free plan;
- scrape, bulk-download or resell our product data other than through a service we have agreed to provide you;
- take the app apart, decompile it, or build a competing service out of it, except where the law expressly allows.
10. Availability and changes
We will try to keep the app running and useful, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, add or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces what Premium offers, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
Parts of the app depend on services run by others, such as the app stores, product databases and our hosting and storage providers. If one of those is unavailable, parts of the app may be too.
Keep your own backups. The app can export everything at any time, and we recommend you do so regularly.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: the app is provided “as is”; we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for lost profits, lost data or wasted expenditure, or for anything arising from your reliance on a date, a reminder or product information in the app rather than on the product itself. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in that period.
12. Ending this agreement
You may stop using the app at any time. You can delete your account and its data yourself, in the app, under Profile → Delete account & data — see the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the store first, or it will keep billing you.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we do that without good reason, we will refund the unused part of any subscription you have paid for.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria, and the courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EEA or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.
